Join us as we celebrate Westside's 75th Church Anniversary with Special Guest Preacher and former pastor, Dr. Perry Hancock, Ph.D., President and CEO of Louisiana Baptist Children's Home & Family Ministries in Monroe, LA. Here are some of the highlights of this special day:
-- Westside's Worship Team will be leading us in worship
-- Dr. Hancock will be preaching God's Word
-- We'll have an old-fashioned Dinner on the Grounds after church as we take some time to fellowship together.
-- We'll have a concert after lunch with some very special guest musicians consisting of former and present members.

2024 will be an exciting year in the life of our church:

9:15 AM
Biscuits and Bible Study
::: We'll have a combined Bible Study hour for all of our youth and adult classes in the Fellowship Hall. Biscuits will be served.
10:30 AM
Christmas Eve Service
::: We'll gather together to celebrate our Savior with a special dramatic presentation of "The Shepherd's Story."
6:00 PM
Candlelight Christmas Eve Service
::: This will be a quiet moment of celebration as we thank God for the greatest gift of all... the Lord Jesus Christ.

Join us at Westside this Christmas Eve for Biscuits and Bible Study in the Fellowship Hall at 9:15 AM. We'll begin this special celebration with breakfast and some carols. Afterward, we'll dive into God's Word as our youth and adults will meet together. Children's Classes will meet in their regular rooms after breakfast.

This is a major milestone and one of the first steps in his seminary pursuits. We're thankful for his continued ministry at Westside and what the Lord is doing in and through his life.

Everyone is invited to join us for one of our Favorite Christmas Traditions, the annual "Hanging of the Green." Whether it's you're first time or you've loved it every year, you won't want to miss this time together. You'll be amazed at how our Sanctuary is transformed in just one hour as we all pitch in and decorate.

Everyone is invited to join us the Sunday before Thanksgiving as we enjoy a time of fellowship with our Soup and Salad Luncheon. Bring your favorites as we give thanks to the Lord for all that He's done this past year. We'll have a special "Cake Auction" this year to support our Children's Ministries. Don't stress the baking as you gather for Thanksgiving with your family... grab one of our delicious desserts and let us handle that part for you.
